I love this old building, and don't mind the less than perfect plumbing or drafty rooms. It is a gorgeous icon that hopefully will remain intact for many more years. I prefer symphony concerts and choral music to rock and alternative events here.

The place is old and reasonably well taken care of but face it ... It's a money pit that is dated. The acoustics and history make the place relevant. The architecture is so cool. But the seats have poor leg room; the stairs are way steep; the interior of the theatre is dated and while it's a really great experience a lot of this is like putting lipstick on a pig.
