The museum was crowded and disorganized at the entry area. We purchased tickets online and once we got there all we saw was a huge crowd of people that was almost impossible to walk through. There were no signs directing us where to go, and the first museum staff we asked was unsure of how to direct us. We wound up with a large group of people clumped together near the entrance to the exhibits. I paid extra for the Dinosaur exhibit and it was very disappointing. I think $3 for one bottle of Coca Cola was way too much. I would not pay full price to visit this museum again.

Terrible staff that were not understanding or willing to work with you.

Too crowded! Too many school field trips were there today! I purchased my ticket online, in advance, and when I got there, they gave me a chaperone badge for our school but wouldn't give me the discounted ticket price or reimbursement etc.

Cold and overbearing with staff to match. The exorbitant pricing forces you to buy access you don't want and feel obliged to wander through to make you swallow the cash flowing out of you. Rarely did a staff person say anything that came across less than "I wish you'd just LEAVE". Wether you are there for 2 hours, right before they close, or arrive when they open - same price. How can these experiences be the same value?!

The facility and programs are wonderful. As a first time visitor I found the interaction with some staff members to be frustrating to say the least. The front desk would not help me or guide me with where to start with a 5 year old. I started at the top which was okay but likely not the most appropriate age wise to start. We battled school groups which I was told should have already cleared the top floor as schools start at the top and work their way down. It was noon so I was told they (the schools) were all at lunch and I would be behind the groups by at least one floor if not two. The students behavior was atrocious. They used foul language and had no respect for others which was displayed by pushing other children (non-school) and cutting in lines. I realize the museum staff may not be able to address the students directly but somewhere in the agreement with the schools staff should have the right to hold chaperones accountable for the students lack of respectful behavior. While in the math exhibit (I arrived at 2:15) the Hampton Prep students were so horrible to my child that they eventually brought her to tears. All this occurred within view of a museum staff member and two chaperones. That staff member should be encouraged to talk to the chaperones. The food is an embarrassment to Wolfgang Puck. The mac&cheese cheese was noodles swimming in a bitter sauce with a cheese sauce layered on top - when stirred the two sauces gelled and had the look of vomit. The baked potato was not warm enough to melt butter and I was over charged by the less than helpful cashier. When I asked the chef what was good, he replied "depends on how much money you have" never making a recommendation. I may return as I see educational value in your facility but sadly I cannot recommend it to others yet.
