Opening day went well despite the Yanks' loss! The staff were all nice, as usual. Because of Passover, we didn't buy food/drinks as usual. Someone (presumably a manager) even came to our accessible seats in Section 209 to greet the regular season tickets holders on his list who were sitting in our vicinity. The same man has come to say hi in prior years, so it's nice to know that we are being checked on to be certain we are happy and doing fine -- we may not be in field level seats, but our plan is expensive nonetheless, so it's wonderful to be appreciated. However, it's too bad he doesn't hand out a card with his and/or another staff member's contact info (ie: text, email, phone) in case of a problem/question during or after a game. The new security measures were smooth for most people, but I think a slight change is needed for disabled people. At Gate 4, I was directed to cut ahead of part of the line, but then I was told to partially wind though tight gates with my scooter -- and it was not only difficult for me to make the turns (and I'm a great driver), but then it held up the line of people behind me. Once I got to security, I showed a Medtronic ID that shows I can't be metal detected/wanted, and the woman nicely inspected me and my bag manually without hassling me (which I appreciated). I don't know why I was told to go through part of the line, but that really needs to be addressed to avoid a frustrating experience and potentially unsafe issues. I'm also not sure what happened to the promotion that was listed on the calendar -- maybe a shipment didn't come? There should be something to hand out to fans as backup when this happens. It happened last season with bobble-heads ... but that day, the shipment arrived by the end of the game and fans with vouchers were able to pick theirs up. Today, there was nothing given out, which was disappointing. All in all, everything was great, except for these two areas that can use some improvement. Can't wait for the
