A fair amount of construction is going on. Looks like good things are coming. I was pleasantly surprised with the zoo. Loved that I can walk in with the Kangaroos.

The employee training the young lady at the ticket counter was very rude to both her and I. She was trying to charge my family when we have a membership so instead of gently showing her what to do he snapped on her. When I told her that the name of my child was on the back of my membership card so he is part of my membership he snapped on me and said "we are training people!" I just said okay and shut my mouth. Very rude person...my husband even remarked at how rude he was and my husband normally never notices situations like that. His name was very different I believe it started with an S.

The only two negative things about our experience was the tiger exhibit was closed for reconstruction and it was very crowded (although that was to be expected).
