I was still a bit irritated from a Murphy Express in Marion, NC the previous morning....I had purchased $10.oo fuel;due to driving an unfamiliar car, I had to turn around to get my gas fill correct. The scrren on the pump (*) said approved for $10...by the time I lifted the Handle, pump had reset. I went inside and was told I would have "to pay again to get your gas." I was also advised the $10.00 was refunded "to your debit card." I still have not seen this refund; I called my bank (Wells Fargo) and they stated that there are no refunds. I am still a bit irritated even though the negative experience occurred at a different location (8682 2757 Sugar Hill Rd Marion NC at 9:42:59 a.m. The Morganton location is where I purchase most of my fuel and tobacco products. I work in Marion, so I visited that location. One staff member (dark hair) was friendly and tried to be helpful. Another employee was extremely rude. I was given a slip that said refund, but I have not seen it on my account.

the pump would click off if pulled to speed up - basically pump kept clicking off while pumping and it was much too slow

It is out of my way (decided to fill up while I was venturing out of town), but otherwise no complaints.

There were two attendants on site,but it took the other attendant awhile before she opened the other register.

mediocre service had to ask questions to insure transactions were complete. was served by two different associates undergoing a shift change. one of whom started transaction, and the other finished it.

I try to pay with cash but there was big lane maybe both register should be working especially when there is a lot of customer's waiting

They were a car running and the drivier was blocking the pumps. He did get gas! I hate that especially when all the pumps are busy.
