It was nice to see a new pump nozzle on pump #2 in Terrell. However, as with almost all nozzles at almost all Murphy locations, I could not make the gas flow SLOWLY enough. Those nozzles can be set/designed to allow for a wide range of fuel delivery rates. I understand that everyone is in a hurry and wants to fill their tanks and get back on the road, but........ when the delivery rate can't be slow enough, the gas splashes out of the filler neck. These things can still be set to flow at a high rate when the handle is pulled all the way... but they can also be set to have a much slower delivery rate when the handle is only pulled slightly. This is a major irritation for me. There is almost always a Brookshire's station within about a mile for a Murphy station. Brookshire's pump nozzles will allow for a much slower delivery of fuel. The prices are always comparable. Either have the maker set the nozzles for a wider range of delivery rates, or change suppliers.
