I have had two experiences with the same clerk being on her cell phone. The first time she was yelling at whomever she was talking to. The second time, she had them on speaker phone. She didn't have enough courtesy to get off the phone to serve me.

The first attendant was wonderful! Wish I knew her name, sadly I don't. She was a very friendly black lady with glasses. The only problem I encountered (which, was minor in the grand scheme of life, albeit rude and indicative of much deeper psychological issues having nothing to do with me.) was with a younger white female attendant. This woman was irrationally insistent that she needed to take my phone ( my brand new, $850 iPhone 7plus) in hand and press the "done button" herself once my Marlboro coupon had been scanned and transaction fully completed. Mind you, once activated this coupon has a 5 minute timer for use. I assured her I would press the done button with the phone facing her the entire time; This is exactly what I did. Rather than apologize, or say thank you for completing that so I could see it, etc... this was her comment: "$1.50 is a lot of money!" I replied: yes ma'am, it certainly is! That's why I wanted to use the coupon. Marlboro will reimburse you; rest assured. I wish you ladies a blessed day.
