I am disabled and have a disabled parking permit-placard. I am an amputee who gets around with a wheelchair. I also have a small stool in the car that enables me to get to the wheelchair in my trunk. On this visit, I pulled my car between the office on the right where there was a window, and a pump island on my left. If anyone looked outside the window, they would have seen me. I sat in my car at that point and raised my disabled parking placard toward the window to show it and sat there for two minutes. No one inside noticed me and no one offered to attend to my needs. So I just gave up on getting any assistance. I drove around to an outside pump and with extra effort, pumped my gas amounting to $54.36. No system exists at your station to assist disabled people, although I believe it is required by state and federal laws.
