Murphy USA

There were banners above the pumps stating that if you used a WalMart money or gift card that you would receive 3 cents off per gallon. When the price came up, it did not give us the 3 cents off as stated on the banner. When the cashier inside was questioned about this, she stated that we do not give 3 cents off per gallon. After explaining several times to her that you can not do that, because it is false advertising/fraud, she finally gave us the 3 cents off per gallon. This Murphy USA 5743 is located at 1418 Hwy 231 S., Troy, AL 36081. This situation needs to be dealt with. Very disappointed in what happened here.

I swipped my card and then it asked me if I wanted a receipt. I pressed yes and then it had wording in spanish which I couldn't read. I tried putting the nozzel to my tank but it would not pump. After a few minutes of trying to get it to do something it started over and I had to re enter my credit card.

when I reported that the hose was leaking gas on the ground that I was being charged for, your attendant Fredricka d. and her manager did nothing to compensate me for my loss. I don't want to be charged for gas that does not get into my car because of your defective hose. which could cause a fire hazard but I will be glad to tell osha that I reported the problem that was ignored.

I was not satisfied with this visit. The pump worked correctly and the windshield washer reservoirs were filled with soapy water.

The windshield cleaning reservoirs were filthy. I finally found one somewhat clean but only 1/3 filled and only had plain water. This is not the first time I experienced this at Murphy USA 5743. The staff here totally neglect the windshield cleaning equipment. It only takes a few seconds to pour cleaning fluid in the reservoir. This is not the only Murphy's I experienced this. I travel cross the USA and have noticed it else where. Other companies provide this customer service and their fuel prices are the same. Makes me think why am I shopping here.
