Today life is in the fast lane and that includes getting gas at the Murphy USA pump and back on the road again. Having the grandkids with you and a quick stop to get gas makes the kids happy too. With few funds since the tornado (EF2) three years and our insurance paid nothing (after we had paid them--Shelter Ins. inColumbia, MO for 26 years), the cheaper gas prices are a true blessing to us, who have few dollars to spend, because of our severe losses. Tornado hit us on Feb. 27, 2011, we looked like Joplin, MO, that was hit later in May 2011. While FEMA and SEMA and insurances helped Joplin, we were not lucky enough to have this help. Having lower gas prices meant that we could travel (this Christmas) to visit the grandkids and that brought us and them great joy as we counted our blessings with meals together. Having lower gas prices meant that we could buy more food to feed the family and make a little homemade candy together. We have stopped at Murphy USA pumps for years because we get quality gas at the lowest prices in town. Then we carry a Murphy USA card with us so when out of town can get gas again at another Murphy USA pump when one is without cash. Thanks
