Not trashy...friendly people...nothing like the southside des moines location...much better! See myself frequenting this location more often

I come mainly for the fuel prices. Usually at or below most of the other local stations. Sometimes I go up to the service window if I want chips or a Coke or a candy bar, but usually I just pay at the pump for gasoline and that's it.

Everytime I go to Murphy's the Employees, especially the Manager at the Murphy's USA store in Altoona, IA are extremely friendly and welcoming. I love getting gas at this location, in fact, I drive about 20 minutes just to get to this particular Murphy's.

The gas was the lowest price in the area and it is easy to get in and out of the station. It is usually on our way that we are traveling.
