Paid for product through credit card. Swiped card once and attendant asked to see my card. Then asked me for my security code on back of card. I explained that was highly unusual and he tried telling me it was for security reasons. Like a fool I handed him my card and then entered my 3 digit security code. Not once but twice he asked me to do so and I did. No matter what store I use my credit card have I EVER been asked for my 3 digit security code, NEVER. Instead of signing my credit card I have ASK FOR I.D. and I appreciate it when asked and do so. After handing over my card to a stranger AND giving him my security code I feel they can use my card via the internet to scam me. Therefore we will not be purchasing gas nor cigarettes at Murphy's in the future. This is a bad policy, if indeed it is your policy and until you discontinue it I will seek an alternative means to purchase our gas and cigarettes. Both friends and family will be advised of what has happened to me. Because of this threat to my credit we now need to monitor our credit reports. NOT HAPPY

I was completely satisfied and this is a typo. The cashier was awesome and above and beyond and personable
