I was going for one pack of cigarettes and the employee offered a discount if I bought three packs, so I did and it saved me money. I appreciate that very much!

The young lady attendant never forgets to greet me with a smile and let's me know of any specials going on, etc. The gentleman (the manager I guess) does the same. I've seen some customers not respond pleasantly to the staff and they STILL manage a smile. I couldn't do that. I'd be in handcuffs by noon! I generally stop by the store early in the morning and it certainly helps the day when greeted with a smile!
