When I removed the nozzle and placed it in the fill opening of the tank,I turned and punched the regular unleaded button and the price of 2.52.9 lit up and all other prices went out. I noticed the cost or price was running high so when I looked at the receipt it showed that I had been charged 2.86.9 per gallon for 16.73 gallons an overcharge of $5.69. The attendant explained that I let the hose hit the super unleaded button first so it was just an accident that he could do nothing about. I am sure he did not have the authority to take care of the customer. I also work with the public and believe that while the customer is not always right It is the job of all employees to make them believe they are important and to take care of their needs. This may not be the Murphy's way of doing business. I will hold off on my final judgement for now.
