brands of sodas to buy for 10 cent fuel discount had changed, but first attendant told me they had been discontinued. saw discount option still in pump. went inside to ask, was told yes it was still ongoing, but because I had begun fueling, I could not get the discount for the sodas I had previously bought - they were the correct ones for the discount.

It's becoming more common to wait longer to pay, than it takes to fill up a Suburban. Selling lottery tickets is great, congratulations to you, and we know it's profitable for you, but unfortunately I have been going in there several times a week for years, and the service is getting worse by the month due to that. On the bright side, this won't have an overall negative impact on your business and these surveys are pointless, but it's good to let the customers have the perception that the company cares what a customer thinks. Why don't you just set up a gambling kiosk for the lottery folks...right there in the parking lot of the gas station. Traffic will flow better. Gamblers can get their gamble on and the rest of us can buy gas and oil from a gas station. Hey, add the cigarettes to the gambling kiosk....problem solved. Or better yet, just open an off site lottery station. Wal-Gamble, Wal-Lot, Murphlot, or some such...get with marketing and follow up on this. Also it may help to only sell lotto tickets to those with 80+% of their bodies covered in tattoos, no shoes, typically no shirt and at least two cigarettes hanging from their mouths. There you go Murphy.

I paid for my gas with a Walmart credit card. There is placard on the pump that clearly states that using that card I would receive $0.03 off of the price of the gas. After filling I noticed that there was no reduction in price. I brought this up to the attendant. He told me it would be taken off of the credit card statement. I have now checked the statement and there was no reduction. I have a felling Thant this has been going on for some time as previous visits have had the same results on the price at the pump. My only conclusion is that it is false advertising and a scam to get people to use the card. Is this the policy of Murphy or Walmart? Or both? True for my purchase it amounts to about $0.51 but if this is happening to hundreds of customers it amounts to thousands of dollars. Kenneth Freeman Gene4carolyn@gmail.com

I'm almost 40 years old and went to buy cigarettes. I was asked for my ID. I was unaware that I didn't have it and spent about 30 minutes looking for it. Yet, the person in front of me appeared much younger and was not carded for her cigarette purchase, and neither was the one behind me who also purchased a pack. So I left without making the purchase, drove all the way home to find my ID, drove back up there, was helped by the exact same cashier, made the purchase- but this time I was never asked for my ID!

I wanted to buy a carton of Marlboro cigarettes that were "guaranteed in stock". I was advised that they didn't have a carton but I could get 5 packs. When I asked what the guarantee was I got a "deer in the headlights" look and no reply. I'm just wondering what exactly "guaranteed in stock " means. Thank you.
