The Wal Mart gas signs posted at $2.159 per gallon. I did not check the receipt but I was charged $2.299 per gallon. I would not have stopped if I knew the price was higher than the amount posted on the Wal Mart sign. The Exxon, Valero were charging the price stated on the Wal Mart sign which was $2.159 per gallon. I prefer the Wal Mart but every penny counts now days. I was disappointed in the misrepresentation of price practice from Wal Mart. I would have called the store but the receipt does not include a store telephone number.
