The location is very busy next to Walmart. A lot of trucks pulling boats were also plugging up things (summer is great). I normally put the pump at the lowest speed setting but ended up having to hold the pump handle to get anything out without the pump shutting down.

I have been using this station exclusively for a number of years. They use to have competitive prices and when I paid using a Walmart gift card I would save an additional 3 cents/gal. The sticker on the pump indicated I could save 5 cents/gal if I use a Walmart credit card, which I started using last year and again today. After reviewing my receipt, I was charged the full pump price of $2.149/gal without any discount. The receipt shows I did use a "Walmart GE MC" for payment. Also within a half mile, two competitors had unleaded gas for a cheaper price ($2.089 & 2.099). I have been a very loyal customer, but now

I had paid for my gas at the pump. I check with my bank to see what charge was pending on my debit card for days because it was a lot of money. My bank advised me that it was a hold of $75.00 on my account that Murphy USA puts on and is released within a week. If I was living pay check to pay check, this would have over drafted my account. There was nothing clearly stating that I would have a hold of $75.00 when paying by card. I have no idea how this company can get away with putting a hold on someone else's money with out advising them first. I will inform others of this situation as others do live pay check to paycheck and cannot afford a hold of $75.00 dollars on their account. This is outrageous.
