As I was pulling up to the pump, I realized I had forgotten my debit card at home. In need of gas immediately I got what change I did have in my car gathered up to go pay for gas. I only had $1.03. Embarrassed, I approached the clerk and said "I know this is crazy, but can I please have this $1.03 on pump 6 please, I forgot my debit card and this is all I have." Without hesitation the two clerks told me that they would give me a courtesy $5.00 to help me out, and that they wanted to make sure I could make it home. This was a very nice gesture, and I will be back to fill up my car this afternoon after I get my card. Thanks a lot!
