Murphy USA usually has the cheapest gas and cigarettes. However the line is usually very long, and you have to wait in line for gas. Also the space is way too small and there are hardly no places to park!

The pump would not accept my walmart card and kept saying I needed to see the attendant. I went three times and on second attempt was told she would turn the pump on and it still didn't work. Hold up with someone buying lottery tickets too. always 3 people in line waiting. It took me 4 trips to see attendant to get the pump to turn on and last trip to window had to insert my card twice. This has never happened before. Overheard that someone's credit/debit card would not take either?

Pump #1 was not working: I had to keep squeezing the handle to get each ten cents worth of gas. I got less than intended since it was mlfunctioning. Also the receipt did not print. Even though I pushed button to print it. When I went to the attendant and told her, she said that pump had not been working all day nor the previous day. Do you THINK they could have put a sign on the pump? The station was not crowded, but after less than optimal FIRST TIME experience, I just wanted to leave.

The attendant answered the phone while getting the items I was purchasing. It was clear it was a personal call by the conversation. She moved over close to the lottery machines and was out of sight. She stayed on the phone at least 3 or more minutes. When she got off the phone, she did say, I am sorry you had to wait. There was 4 people standing in line behind me while she was talking. I love this Murphy's business and have always had Outstanding answers to the surveys. BUT, this time I just don't think this or any employee should be on the phone with a person conversation while the line is getting longer and longer. I wouldn't run a business with an employee that is the front line person and she is talking on the phone. I felt you needed to know this information. I have never visited this site and had an employee "ignore" me while being on a phone. Every one I have interacted with either knew me because I am there weekly or very courteous and provides fast service - very friendly folks. Thank you for doing this type of survey.
