Murphy has dramatically different prices from store to store. This one is frequently higher that the stores in Johnson City and Elizabethton near by.

The bathrooms were very dirty

I was going to purchase a 12 oz DR ENUF along with my other purchases. Your price is $1.99. DR ENUF is produced 15 minutes away from this location and is a great local product. They are 92 cents at Wal-Mart and $1.00 from the vending machines dotted all over the county. I can even purchase them at work for $1.00. Charging double what everyone else does is Ridiculous! I placed the drink back in the cooler and went on my way. If this doesn't change, I can find somewhere else to buy all of my products including gas. Gas isn't any cheaper at your establishment either.

The attendant was hateful

I stop at this gas station as it is along my commute path. The gas pumps never work right. They stop pumping constantly in the middle of the process. Its a pain in the neck.

I almost always get gas at this Murphy. This time I had taken MY TIME to do the survey from my last visit. I put the code in that the SURVEY page told me to write down. The pump would NOT take it! It kept saying "This pump does not take this type of card." I had not put a card in as I put the code in first since that was the choice on the screen. I choose "Pay w/rollback code". I went to the attendant and was told "Well, I don't know what to tell you. It should have given you numbers as the rollback code." I explained that it had not and that I had done enough surveys to know I wrote what I was given and where I was told to write it! He just said he couldn't help me so I wadded up the receipt & threw it in the window to be trashed. NOT at him like I really wanted to do as I know it wasn't his fault. I was very angry at having wasted my time w/the survey & him. I'll go elsewhere where I KNOW if the pump screws up, the actual people will make it right!

Well after I left I noticed my gas meter still read what it had before I got gas. I looked at my receipt and noticed I had not actually gotten gas at all. I hooked everything up as usual and washed my windows while I thought it was fueling up. I heard it click off. I finished up as usual, taking my receipt as I got in my car. It was very upsetting to find that no gas had been pumped at all.

The Walmart cards have not worked at this facility for a month. I don't want to waste time at both for nothing.
