Murphy USA

I wanted to use debit. it was processed as a credit. after I put my card in, I was asked for my zip code, not my pin number. I don't like to buy gas as a credit. I purchase gas as a debit. now murphy has a 1.00 bank hold on my account until murphy processes the 31.99 gas purchase. as of 5/22/15 at 19:36 time this has not cleared my checking account. this murphy station has done this before. my next step is FL division of consumer affairs to inquire if this is legal and why murphy does this? no other station in my town does this.

It appeared that the gas attendant had already left 4 the night.The gas pumps would not allow us to pump any gas & it was not yet supposed to be closed. I frequently visit this station at this time of night & it's always open until 1am this visit it was close at least 10 minutes if not more before it was supposed to be.I put my last $18 on a Walmart gas card to get gas & had to use money I was holding onto for my Child to go to another service station,if I wouldn't have had that then I would not have been able to have fuel to get home. There were 3 other gentlemen there as well one from Texas one from past Jackdonville, they were very upset because of the same problem. Also the last visit inside I had I got an ice cup & it had a baby roach & egg frozen into it. THANK GOD I WAS JUST DRINKING ICE & DID NOT HAVEN'T A DARK COLORED SODA. THEY NEED TO THOROUGHLY CLEAN THEIR ICE MACHINE!!!
