Easy access

The fuel cost is less than many stations, however more than BP or Weigel's when using their gas cards. These stations give $0.10 to $0.15 per gallon verses $0.03 with a Wal-Mart gift card at Murphy's, and I can get a $0.30 per gallon savings when making my purchases from Food City and using their discount card for their gas. I believe Wal-Mart should offer a better discount for those who spend over $10,000 annually at your stores.

Cheapest gas

It is very annoying for the pump to ask if I would like to purchase a drink. If I wanted a drink I am sure that I could figure out how to purchase one. It is also inconvenient because the question displays right before it asks if I would like a receipt; which was the first question on the display for years. This makes it easy to inadvertently select a drink thinking it was displaying the receipt question. Especially when the sun light hits the screen and washes out the display where it is difficult to read.

The gas price is cheaper at name brand stations when using their cards.

I was looking at your Murphy’s gas credit card and was thinking about procuring one until I seen the discount amount; I am disappointed at the discount amount. After the introductory rate expires it would only be $0.05 per gallon. Most of the brand name stations in this area offer a 0.10 to 0.15 cent discount per gallon. It looks like you could provide the same discount amount as the major name brands.

The nozzles on many of your pumps do not have a swivel. They are facing in toward the stowage position of the pump; in order to get the nozzle to align with the fuel tank inlet you have to turn the nozzle 180 degrees which in turn means you must twist the large hose. This is especially difficult when the temperature is low; and for those with arthritis or who may be advanced in age. Most fuel stations have rotating nozzles for this reason. These pumps have had this issue for a long time now; it looks like you could remedy this problem to make it easier for your customers.
