Not a good place
By frustrated customer in lexington | 8/14/2015
my daughter and i purchased your refillable cups in the beginning of summer because we love murphy's icees. This is the closest murphys to our home. THREE of our last visits I was unable to get an icee because the flavors (plural) i like are not working. Tonight we went in and more flavors were out than were working. also, the cherry lime flavor was leaking out of the front and had flowed onto a huge puddle on the floor. I had to inform the attendant after i called out for one. The cashier, Janet as it says on my receipt could not have cared less about the lack of flavors available or that i was unhappy. This is the same Janet that didn't care last time i was there w/ the same problem. Also, the time before that another cashier just shrugged her shoulders. So i feel a little taken advantage of since i bought the cup and now can't use it for the purpose it was purchased. Disgusted and angry is how i feel about this store.

I went inside to purchase some beer. We stopped at this store on the way home from lunch because it is on the route home and one a only a few places allowed to sell beer and wine on Sunday. Other places would have increased travel distance. I am handicapped due to a below the knee amputation on my right leg and was on crutches for this visit. My daughter was driving me this day and acting as my assistant since I am not able to drive or carry items. Upon reaching the cashier counter, (I did not notice a wheelchair cashier counter; good thing I was not in my wheelchair) the cashier asked for "y'alls" I.D. Since the term "y'all" is not specific, I didn't pay it much attention. I had left my wallet in the truck and had my daughter retrieve it for me (I am 51 years old). When she returned, I handed the cashier proper I.D. He Then requested my daughter's I.D. As she was getting her I.D.; she told him that she was under 21. The cashier then told me it was against store policy for him to sell me the beer and illegal. That since my daughter and I came in together, we both had to be over 21 to make this purchase. I tried to explain that I was handicapped and couldn't carry....
