Murphy Express controls the gas prices in McDowell County. Surrounding counties will be lower for a considerable time before the gas prices go down in McDowell County.

We trade with Murphy and Walmart a lot when we are traveling and here at home. The sign read 2.64 and when we used our Walmart credit card that is the price we were charged on our ticket. We did not notice until we were already away from the station. My wife pumped the gas because I was on the way home from radiation treatment. We always receive a 5 cent discount with the card at a Murphy station. However if this is the policy at this station that we get the same price as posted on the large sign, we will not stop at this one any more.

The price is toooooooo expensive!!!!!!!!! you guys are suppose to be the cheapest in this area but you are NOT!!!!!!!!! Plus other Murphy USA in other areas are cheaper than this 1!!!!!!!! Plus I DON"T think anyone ever wins !!!!!!!!

Water used to clean windows was bit nasty/smelly. No paper towels at lane to use.
