I am an unemployed single parent who had 30.60 to my name 2 days after Christmas on a Saturday evening. I made the uninformed MISTAKE of purchasing 10.01 gas at the pump using my debit card. MURPHY USA put ahold on my card for 24-48 hours taking my remaining 20.59. This is all I had. Your CORPORATION has no right to hold my money. I paid for the gas I purchased. I will never return to this or any other gas station owned by this company and I intend to alert the media and every one I know that your corporation practice this form of extortion. What do you do with the millions or billions of dollars you are "holding" for 24-48 hours while a person with 20.59 to their name is left empty handed. I also intend to write to my congressman and the house representative regarding this matter. What is wrong with the USA today? Companies like yours should never be allowed to place the name of our country on your advertisement. You are a disgrace to the nation. I question what nation you actually are representing. I promise I am not finished voicing my opinion on this matter. The voice of the people is very powerful but first the people have to know what is happening to them "at the pump".
