Could not fill my tank because of price per gallon.

Employees really snappish and angry

Several times when I have gotten Murphy USA 93 octane premium unleaded (including at least once at this location) it has not been 93 octane. My car will ping and spark knock and pull the spark timing and boost, which simply does not happen at Shell, QuikTrip, BP, Marathon, ExxonMobil, Chevron, 76, or Citgo with their 93 octane premium unleaded. My car is comfortable with true 92 octane fuel, but not 91, it gets grouchy. This means that Murphy is lying about the octane levels of their fuels. Also, sometimes it seems like there is way too much ethanol in the fuel. Sometimes the exhaust smells like a sharpie marker indicating too much ethanol. My car is only supposed to have E10.

I was highly satisfied with my experience at this Murphy Express. The price was cheaper than some of the other stations locally. The facility was clean and quick in and quick out.

Due to price of gas I was again unable to fill the tank.

I selected lowest octane gasoline but the pump delivered highest octane and charged for it! That was $.50 higher Per gallon than what I selected. I purchased 14.2 gallons. So I was ripped off for over $7.00 just because I chose this Murphy station. It won't ever again for I will not deal with Murphy stations again and will tell all my friends what a crooked outfit Murphy is.
