Not real sure but maybe you can check & see if water was in your gas that day. The next day or so the car didn't want to run good & the check engine light came on. Advance Auto checked it & said they thought I might have got water in the gas. Put about 10 gal into the 13 gal tank. The next day it had to be towed. Replaced the fuel pump & fuel filter. This stop cost me approx $400 in repair bills. Not exactly what I had in mind for Christmas.
