My debit card was not approved at the pump so I had to see the attempted and they would have to hold 75$.

The lady at the register was extremely rude and unprofessional horrible customer service.

The first pump I tried had a broken display screen and was unusable. The second pump had a slightly better functioning screen. The place was filthy with garbage and graffiti everywhere. The screens on both pumps I went to were severely scratched up. Being approached by panhandlers made me feel unsafe. There were unattended cars in the lanes but no one was in line at the cashier. People were hanging out in their cars along the perimeter of the station. Place just feels unsafe and creepy.

I told the cashier I would like to pay for my fuel with debit. This has happened before and it's very irritating. I asked to pay by debit and they always always run it as credit. How hard is it to comprehend that?????!!!!!!!

The pump wouldn't accept my debit card at the pump and I had my baby with me so I had to get him out of the car, lock my vehicle, and see the attendant which was very inconvenient because it took it fine once I got to the window.

The pumps have been out of paper lately and I have to walk to the counter to get receipts

It seems like every time I go there, the lines are long, there is no receipt paper, the pumps either are running jumpy or really slow, and the attendants are not really nice; it seems they really hate their jobs, which I can understand somewhat as I worked at a station twice in my life before I became disabled, but I never showed that attitude to my customers...EVER. Also the bathrooms are busy a lot, with what I think are people doing drugs. I;ve seen needles and other things in the trash and on floors, and they are pretty nasty messy. The attendant has had to ask people to hurry up several time because of people waiting to go and they are in there for like 30 minutes at a time. I love Murphy Gas for several reasons; it's close to where I shop at Walmart, it's close to the freeway, the prices are fairly good in comparison to other stations around, however, not such a difference that people won't drive 2 blocks for another station. I mostly would just like to pay at the pump, get my receipt, be able to wash my windshield or even use a paper towel to wipe my hands, but that stuff is empty 90% of the time, both solution and paper towels. And I wish attendants were nicer.

Cashier pressured me four times to buy 3 Pepsi products. I say all four times no thank you. It seemed like she couldn't take no for an answer. I hate soda pops, so it is a definite fact I will not buy sodas. She then tried to persuade me to buy 3 chips just to save 10 cents a gallon. I said no every time. Once again I do not like chips much either. Also I got $10 of gas at $2.53/gal so it would be useless for me to purchase almost $6 just to save what 40 cents on gas especially on items I hate. I'm glad I kept saying no thanks. The cashier could tell I was exasperated after the fourth time so she gave up. It would be nice if they take no for an answer. I will NEVER pay $6 on items I despise just to save an lousy 40 cents on gas!

It was like a free for all almost got hit several times since the attendant doesn't come out of the box people speeding through there and cars were every which way.
