I normally buy gas and cigarettes. Since Murphy came to Ahoskie, NC, they charged less for gas competing for business, so the other gas stations had to adjust their price to compete. I always get gas from Murphy because they provided competition to begin with. I have heard other people say the same as far as buying gas at Murphy.
