The attendant was new and being trained. Both the trainer and the attendant were making a focused effort to be efficient and friendly. Good to see.

I usually get a good price for fuel at this location. Its clean. And though I didn't buy anything else, sometimes I buy a snack for me or others in the car.

For the first time ever, I ran out of gas ... about 1/2 mile away. From me walking in and buying a gas can, the attendant could tell. He was subtle and sympathetic, and wished me luck. The gas can itself was more complicated than I thought -- It might have been nice if the attendant pointed that out or asked me if I knew how to work the new-fangled spout, but that would have been beyond the call, as they say.
