Hand and Stone

The hot stones were not hot, they were only warm for a few seconds and then went room temp. The room was cold because there was a fan blowind directly on the table at high speed

The ambiance was great. The therapist seemed very nervous. There were times where the pressure was too much.

I requested more pressure and didn't get it. Therapist didn't ask if it was better. It's awkward to have to keep telling the therapist that you need more. I've never had to do that.

Upon check out I notified the front desk of the failure to perform a traditional facial with an additional fee of upcharge. The esthetician definitely seemed new in her role, her massage skills were less than satisfactory and she allowed the hot towels to cool down too much before applying them to the skin causing me to get cold.

The massage therapist was very friendly but talked during the entire massage so I was unable to completely relax.

i liked the way everthing was so clean.and the smell in the air.and the music and the quiet atmosphere.the way staff was dressed and how welcome they made you feel

This was my first time at the Matthews location. It was a good visit. No complaints.

No one confirmed the type of massage I was getting. When I called in I wasn’t asked if I wanted deep tissue are purely Swedish. And the therapist I had did not know how to perform a deep tissue massage. I realize that as we were heading to that massage room. She did well considering it was a Swedish massage. But during the massage, although she knew that I was having pain in my back, I didn’t feel that she went the extra mile to alleviate or adress the pain. I know that deep tissue is not her specialty, But I did feel she could have got a little bit more To address my back pain

I felt like my services were ok. I will continue to come to see if I feel better. Not a great massage but the facial was nice.
