The reason I started coming to hand and stone was because my son was driving me crazy and I was desperate for a break. I enjoyed it so I became a member for once a month for just some me time. Lately though, instead of relaxing and enjoying, I lie there worrying about how much the treatment is going to cost and how much am I going to spend on all the products I am going to need. It’s not the relaxing time I was hoping for.

I probably would’ve been more satisfied if someone told me it would’ve been an up charge to do a “hydrating add on facial” when it didn’t hydrate my skin. I was told my add on would be 90$ not 110$.

I did enjoy my experience, but there were a few things that would have made it even better! The lights were bright in the massage room and there wasn’t really any soothing aromas (I also had a mask on so that might be why I didn’t smell the relaxing scents if there were some). I also paid for a 60 minute massage and only received a 50 minute massage. It was my first time and these aren’t things that would keep me from coming back. The only reason I would likely not return soon is because of the pricing. At these prices it is a treat not a common occurrence!

It is very difficult to book deep tissue sessions. There seems to only be certain times of the day that do not work with my schedule.

Massage went great but the facial therapist tried to upsell me during the session. After I said no that I was not interested it felt like she was a bit rude moving forward.

Right after my massage I got bombarded at the front desk about signing up for a monthly plan without being able to just enjoy the relaxing aftermath of the massage and it was overwhelming, and It would feel like that for any customer after that. I get the need for a pitch for plan services. Should be prior to the massage so the transition is more seamless. I tried to brush off the idea of the plan and get off the topic and said I needed to be able to think about it and got asked more questions into pushing it on me and I just wanted to leave

I thought the massage was great. The therapist talked throughout the service which was distracting to me feeling highly satisfied. I did talk back at some times but would have preferred just silence and total relaxation - which I could have easily stated.
