Hand and Stone

I loved loved loved my aesthetician but I brought a friend and she didn’t have such a great experience. She did have another aesthetician. Bri was wonderful but hers was odd. I don’t know her name but she told my friend (who has beautiful skin) that she’ll most likely need Acutane at some point. Which is strange for an aesthetician to say. Most of the time they want to try to help you first to avoid medications.

This location was new to my area, my family had gotten gift cards, my dad went the week prior and had gotten the beginners discount so he was able to go twice with his gift card but pay extra to cover the second time (which is great marketing). However when I went, they said my gift card only counts for one massage and I cannot have the first time discount because I was using a gift card. I thought this was really silly, because if they would have given me the discount I would have come back a second time and spent about $50 of my own money to cover the difference of the gift card. The massage itself was enjoyable, my therapists hands were a little dry and she had visible eczema on her arms, which I thought was a little odd. All in all it was a good experience, just kind of felt like the twilight zone where everything was slightly off and nobody seemed to be thinking straight. But hey, I got a free massage and my arms aren’t as sore and that’s all I really care about! Relaxing experience!

I would like to have had the bed been more warmer once I arrive in the rooms. I kept having to ask to have the bed more warmer. Also, I would like to have been told each time what is being applied during my massage.

Having to wear mask during massage with my face in a hole couldn’t see abs couldn’t breathe. Also only massaged back, legs,arms. Did not do shoulders while on my back or head ( all the other massages I have had have incorporated this, may not be the norm). Felt rushed. Idk the mask was the biggest thing. With the cover over the face thing and then having on a mask it was like having your face down in a bed! Not comfortably or relaxing, had I known this I wouldn’t have got a massage at this time!!

I thought the receptionist and esthetician were extremely friendly and overall did a good job. I had addressed a concern of black heads and didn’t have any extracted or minimize in appearance.

Therapist did a good job didn't concentrate enough on areas of concern. Location to far from my house. Rates to high.

The hydrating spray that was applied over my face was a scent that I really did not like and apparently my skin is dry so she had to use it a couple of times. Filling out the paperwork was a little confusing because I was only there for a facial and the receptionist had to help me. And finally I bought the lavender cocoon lotion and it did not work at all! I was very disappointed because I love the scent of lavender but I am better off using my pillow spray because that at least works most of the night. Your product barely worked after I put it on.

Alyssa need to appear more confident and in control. She was kind and asked for feedback. Improving her confidence and control would help her immensely.

I came there in hopes of feeling relieved of pain once I left. The tech didn’t apply the pressure like I requested nor did she ask if the pressure applied was adequate. However, the tech was very sweet but I can tell she was timid.
