Cafe Rio

This was my first time there. The pico was alright. I ordered the shredded chicken burrito and though the size was impressive, the taste was not. Huge chunks of chicken was awesome, but it just seemed like everyone I was with, kept raving about how good it was and how much I'd love it... I definitely beg to differ. If i have a choice it won't be Cafe Rio next time. It was tasteless and needed to add flavor to the meat or beans or something. The beverage was ok. But for $23, it was not worth it. I could have ate cheaper at an actual sit down restaurant, with better tasting food.

I love Cafe Rio but the Boise location is, and has been, very unfriendly and pushes people through. They do not listen when you tell them what you want, and just start putting on the regular items. Even after they've asked how you want it, they just put what they want on it. I told the lady that was cleaning up when we left that the people on the line need to listen better. I saw her tell the manager, and he just rolled his eyes. It makes no sense to me that they're that way. I've gone to this Cafe Rio since it opened and I've been less than impressed. They're rude and if we go after 9 PM, half the items are gone because they've put them away.
