They needed another employee to help along the food line. It was taking a long time and it was the lunch rush.

Cashier didn't speak English so she didn't understand when I told her I had a student ID for the daily special. Line worker didn't ask if I asked for a corn tortilla because of gluten free preference or allergy, so that was also frustrating.

Food portions were smaller than usual but tasty as always.

Cafe rio is better

I used to work at costa vida. Went to pick up a friend

Food was more bland and soggy than usual; salad didn't seem very fresh. I think we'll stick with Cafe Rio from now on.
