I ordered the Provençal Vegetable & Goat Cheese, which comes on a baguette. Today it came on a croissant, and it wasn't very good. I'm annoyed this wasn't brought to me at any point up to and including when I came in the cafe to pick it up! It completely changed the sandwich. It's hit or miss here, as many times as I've ordered I've only gotten bread & jam once. Another time I ordered soup and was missing silverware. There is never any napkins included, it's bare minimum and they didn't even have to clean the table after I dined. Very disappointing.

Order was placed at 11:27 am and I got my food at 11:45. The restaurant had less than 12 customers. The associate said the kitchen was understaffed.

Normally I rate La Madeline with high positive statements. This time it took too long to order the food and receive the food to go. One associate was tied up with gift cards. The chicken La Madeline was cold and tough. The broccoli was not good. However the rice was good.

The quality of the food was good, but I was disappointed to see the remodeled restaurant. I have always enjoyed the ambiance and French country style of the restaurant and have been coming there for over 20 years. I’m sorry to say that it now feels like every other chain restaurant, too bright and stark with no character at all. We used to enjoy a leisurely breakfast and coffee there on the weekends and it just doesn’t have that inviting feel anymore.

When the food was delivered the delivery person stated the chicken for the caesar salads were not in the bag. She asked if we want a refund or would like the chicken delivered. We requested she come back with chicken which she did. The lunches were served, we realized that the chocolate cookie we requested in ordering was changed by the cafe to oatmeal with raisin. We were serving a group in a meeting and several of the people do not eat raisin. So, we placed an ordered chocolate cookies from another vendor.

Staff wasn’t properly trained on how to make coffees on the menu. If so, then they need better training. They wear gloves no matter what they are doing , not just to get food from display case. Yuck. Food presentation was poor. Staff was very friendly just need more help in training.

Ordered the cafe sampler breakfast with a side of bacon, cook (lady wearing a blue shirt said to counter help he ordered bacon, but it's not on the receipt. The cashier said ok, I said please make sure the bacon is ordered....when they brought our food no bacon asked about it once again response was well you didn't pay for it? Food was cold and cafe was filthy, and we won't talk about the bathroom. We were celebrating an achievement with family and it was totally ruined by filth, cold food and rudeness. This location has a staff chock full of laziness. I deserve my hard earned $93.00 back!

Particularly the temperature of the coffee being served. The 1st cup was a nice temperature, but the 2nd cup was "cold" and the staff had to brew fresh coffee of course the brew cycle began with american followed by french and thus had to wait for the french which I never got and had to select american. Not efficient at all.
