la Madeleine

We are frequent customers. We don't have a cafe in our town so we always seek one out when traveling. The food and staff are consistently great.

La Madeleine is high on my list for dining out. I love the atmosphere, and the food is very tasty. I also think it is reasonably priced.

Chicken with Mushroom sauce is great Sacher Tort chocolate cake is great Friendly atmosphere

I love the tomato soup, bread and jams. I love the menu. I'm French and it reminds me of my mother.

My hostess Mandy was awesome. She put my order together very fast and she was very pleasant. The macchiato she made was perfect! Last time I came to this location the hostess that made my drink made it so bitter, but Mandy nailed it. Thank you Mandy for making my morning and complimenting my mask! Will definitely be returning to the La Madeleine in Lewisville in the future.

Took a while for someone to take my family's order but other than that it was great. We didn't want long at all.

I've been coming to this location for quite a few years, and noticed a few differences this go round. The soup that we had ordered tasted different, more sour, almost rancid. We didn't mention anything to the manager. Also, it was noted how friendly the manager was to customers as they ordered, laughing and joking around with them; I was disheartened to notice that I didn't get the same type of service. While he was not directly rude, he barely acknowledged me as I waited for him to finish what he was doing so that I could order. I'm hoping it was just that he was having a busy morning. On the bright side, I do love how much more organized everything looks now at the beverage stations.

The lamadeleine on 2417 S. Stemmons Frwy #100, Lewisville, TX tends to avoid giving customers an opportunity to provide feedback. The manager/ who claimed to be the owner, openly argued against giving the receipt that has feedback code. He has done that twice and he was rude!! This time, it was another waiter who threw away the first receipt claiming to be was 'wrongly' printed, except the second one when I asked happens to be one with feedback as well. I am not sure, if the owner is hiding something or trying to save money by note using code for the complimentary desert.

The lady taking our order was just ok. she tried to help us get our order straight. But had a difficult time getting us bread, jelly, etc.

There are two issues. Let’s preface this by identifying ourselves as Crème de La Crème members of the rewards program. We’ve been such for a number of years, so many I can’t recall when we started. First, we’ve noted in our recent visits that the quantity of food on our plates has decreased significantly. This seems to have coincided with the $.50 price increase in the omelets. It is understandable that inflation requires price increases but to increase prices while cutting portion sizes is less acceptable to us than a mere price increase. We won’t come as often as a result. Second, my wife ordered spinach as one of the components of her omelet. It was not included in the prep of her meal and when this was brought to an associate’s attention the kitchen brought out a bit of sautéed spinach but not the proper omelet we had ordered. We did not object to that but were not pleased at the attempt to half fix the problem. We were loyal customers during the pandemic and had expected better when things got better. We are not angry but are more likely to go elsewhere for our breakfasts, at least from time to time.
