Some of the Caesar salad romaine lettuce was brown. We ran out of utensils before the food ran out and had no extras at our location. The veggie sandwiches we special-ordered contained a leaf of lettuce, a tomato, and a couple of red peppers. What happened to the onions and mushrooms? Although the chicken salad croissants and tomato basil pesto pasta salad were delicious, guests complained that all the sandwiches were extremely dry and had no condiments of any kind (no mayo, mustard, pesto, etc.). We would cut the brownies in quarters and the cookies in half so there is more to go around.

The associate needed customer service skills. I waited 15-20 minutes for my food. No place for people to wait in that small area. We were too close to each other. Didn't want to sit at a table because the ones close to the door were not clean.

Still Ordering at register since covid19 days..omelet had brown edges( cooked on high heat by a very young cook,), expresso was good and nice temp this time. Table had lots of trash under my feet (noticed young guy behind counter keeping up with his social relationships though). They SHOULDN'T be allowed to stay on e-phones while at work--looks slovenly when so much work needs to be done in cafe. Maria is great...she cleaned up floor and replaced stopped up salt shaker. 30+year customer...don't visit much anymore.

The staff was running and doing their jobs, but there was not enough staff available to access the customers- by the time my order was rung up, my soup was cold ish - the staff was so busy helping customers, I didn’t have the heart to ask them to heat up my soup.

I called Tuesday afternoon to place a Wednesday lunch order and request tax exemption. The manager took my order and sent a quote that evening with the wrong delivery time no note regarding tax exemption. Catering called my cell early the next morning to collect payment on what they thought was a 10am order. I explained that it was a lunch order that needed tax exemption, and I would forward our exemption cert as soon as I got to work, as previously discussed. A second quote was sent, still with the wrong time, and now discounted instead of tax exempt. This is frustratingly common, and I would really like your store and catering managers to understand that tax exemption is sometimes not about the cost. As a state organization, paying tax, even on a discounted total, is still paying tax and it causes problems for state-culpable accounting. I called an hour before delivery asking if I could yet pay. The manager explained the tax exemption still had not been approved, and I could pay after lunch if needed. Why such frustration for an order placed the day before?

The gift card that I tried to use did not work the first 2 to 3 times. Finally the manager tried it and it did work. Also, my food was meeh. The bacon was cold and hard, and had obviously been cooked many hours prior to serving. The potato gratin tasted warmed over. Quite honestly, I could’ve stayed home and had a better breakfast. Also, I was disappointed that you’ve taken the bread station away. This was something that I think most customers look forward to, and have been a part of LaMadelines for many years. It was disappointing that that was not there. Also, I had to go ask for butter and jelly at the counter. So, overall it wasn’t a very good experience.
