This was a bit unusual - very understaffed for lunch. The chefs and clerks were stressed and stiff. It was easy to have compassion but better that the staff is not so unhappy and pushed to the limit.

this time is fine but at the previous, I asked for a croissant and the associate said, "I'll give you two since we threw them out at the end of the day anyway." When I looked at the receipt after I got home, he had charged me for two croissants. I did not ask for two croissants! With what he said, shouldn't the second croissant not be charged at all?!

We miss the small servings of bread that were out to taste the jelly/jams that use to be served/offered. Also, we miss the fact that we had to ask for honey for our tea rather then having it out and available for the taking. We don't mind the "Get it yourself" aspects of coffe/tea service once ordered, but felt abit bothered by having to ask the person bussing the tables for assistance (took a while to get her attention). Best aspect of visit, the fireplace and fire. LOVE IT!!!

My coffee was not that hot, It was getting cold quickly. Caramel macchiato was too sweet. No seasoning on broccoli and salmon.

Highly satisfied is a condition that applies only to those restaurants striving for three Michelin stars. Not for a neighborhood eatery.
