The November award on my app - a free cup of soup - was not honored. Did not notice that I was charged for the soup ($3.39 plus tax) until I had already left. Never had this issue before so did not check the receipt right away.

More than once they always miss items in my order. I ordered a kids meal and didn’t get the drink or apple sauce and my kid was very upset.

It took a long time to order. A long time to pay. My good was cold by the time I ate it. The coffee had grounds in it.

I am conflicted about this experience. The service was kind and accommodating. I was charged too much and I’m not sure why. All of my ingredients were not available because I prefer fresh and not the toppings sitting out. As I tried to figure out what I wanted I picked the quiche but a sampler was available instead of accommodating me I was charged more for a whole. It was end of night and the cafe was empty why not give it to me. My soup bowl was messy and spilled the manager didn’t bother to wipe it clean. The crust and flavor of the quiche was horrendous. Not authentic at all. The kitchen was blaring music that competed with the dining room and made it impossible to get any work done. The manager was present and said nothing. I rarely dine in but I decided to try and work and it wasn’t an option. I want a refund. I wasn’t a valued guest here and completely disrespected and ignored once I sat down.

I tried to pay with a gift card which was a recent birthday present from dear friends. The cashier said the card showed no value. He had tried to swipe it. We asked him to check with someone who could fix the issue. I had a receipt showing $50.00 balance put on the card on February 1, 2023 and no use of the card had been made because it was in my purse. But my receipt was at home. The female employee entered a number from the bottom of my card but could see no value. We paid for my meal (total $27.61) by other means. Here is the gift card authorization number: 918753 Other info=Noureddine #130067 on 02/01/23 2:58 pm. transaction amt $50, current balance $50.00. This was all bought and tried to use at 1833 Fountain Dr. , Reston, VA (703) 707 0713 Maybe more training is needed in how to sell/ accept gift cards. My card # 6000406416443659. My order was incomplete, when I came home my dessert pie wasnt there

The catering order consisted of 6 x 5 types of sandwiches and 5 x 4 types of salads. On the day of delivery, I called the store 1 ½ hours before the delivery explicitly requesting that all items labeled. I was stunned that only the sandwiches were labeled, but not the 20 salads. However, the 5 x 4 types of salad in transparent boxes containing all chicken meat were not labeled as requested resulting in delay for people to pick their preferred salad. The tip of $67.00 I prepaid at the time of placing the catering order was meant for an amazing service. I’m disappointed in the service that was provided.

I got a fruit tart to celebrate my 15 year anniversary with my husband. The fruit tart tasted like it has been sitting there for a long time. Some of the fruit, especially pineapple already gone bad.

This la madeleine location is the only place I go to for breakfast and the only place I would recommand. Love this restaurant
