All the orders were COLD, over easy eggs, potatoes, croissant, crepes. Had to request that food be put in microwave. No Apology. Ordered Specialty coffee, it was served cold after I had finished my meal. Server said that when he went to make coffee, there were people there with a to-go order. I watched as the orders were placed, prepared and paid for. My coffee (which had been paid for w/ my meal) was made after the to-go orders and then sat on the counter as staff helped walk-in customers. Regular coffee (American) was cold and another patron asked them to make a new pot. It was done. 5 tables had dirty dishes that were there when my party sat down and cleaned as we left.

Complimentary drink was not added until I mentioned it. Ice dispenser was not working correctly. There were no straws. Did ask for and mentioned to associate. They opened a new box. There were no knives. Did ask for and mentioned to associate. I got two knives. They did not add any to dispenser, so next person needed to ask. The order process is always cumbersome at Tyler location. It has been that way since they opened.

First of all, the soup is NEVER warm enough. So I have to eat it quickly. The chicken friand was VERY dry, at least the pastry. My main problem is the attitude of one of the female employees. One recent visit, I said, "You were going to call me when these came in. I gave you my phone number." She said, "Well, you're here now!" Then on this last visit, same girl, she obviously was annoyed with me, because she put her hand on her hip and stared right into my eyes while I was speaking. I had not ordered my cookie or muffin (free this month) when I ordered my meal, so I went to get it. She said, "You have to order it when you place your order. Remember I told you that last time?" I said, "Yes, I remember." and I slunk off. I really felt put down.

Restaurant did not have quiche or friand, had to settle for another dish which I was not liking.

There were 10+ tables needing to be bust. The table we chose appeared clean but was extremely sticky and had not been wiped at all. They were completely out of bread. The coke machine was out.

I got a piece of the sacher chocolate torte cake and couldn’t eat it because the first bite I tried to eat had a long black hair in it. Mine is blonde so I know it wasn’t from me. Had to throw away.

The lady at the cash counter was rude and did not give me the cappuccino i had to run after her to give me the cappuccino in during that my breakfast got cold then she didn't give the sourdough loaf I ordered to go. When i complained about her she started throwing a fit. She was also talking to someone as she had an airpod in her ear.

We ordered the cafe sampler, and had to pay extra for strawberries! When we asked the manager about this, he said “strawberries are expensive!”, and didn’t try to make us feel better, or help our order. A quiche that my wife got had an undone crust, and was dry! The breakfast I ordered was very greasy, and I couldn’t finish it. Overall, we spent $29.83 for a meal we weren’t able to finish. We will never return to La Madeline.

I love it so much. I was not dissatisfied at all. The workers are amazing and it is so good
