la Madeleine

A little bit confused on how to order food. Also a bit confused where the food will come from or if I’m supposed to get it myself.

It must have been a busy night for them as there were several tables that had not been cleaned, but soon were after I sat. My biggest dislike of the restaurant is that you order at one spot then myself AND the employee must go to another spot to pay. It would be more efficient to do it in one spot.

Very fast service. Bread wasn’t available at time.

The sweet potato soufflé and the pecan tart were extremely sweet. Did not care for the cranberry sauce that was jus poured from a can, I would expect La Madeleine to make their own. The portions for sides could be a little more generous.

Reheating instructions were missing as well as slivered almonds.

I like my entree, but my husband order extra meat on his sandwich. He paid extra to get more meat but it was still low. Not a good deal for the price he paid!

I found the service highly satisfied. The food was delicates and I very much enjoyed the cozy atmosphere in the café. I would like it if there were a wider range of pastries.

1) When placing order, I ordered ice tea with cups and ice. Ice didn't come in, when I asked delivery person, she didn't know this order supposed to come in with it. I needed to run to the ice maker and get as much ice as I could to provide for 20 people, pretty inconvenient. 2) Green beans weren't good; they taste like out of a can. The rest of good was pretty good.

I am very satisfied. Will return. Love the pasteries here.

It was crowded and long wait to order. They could of used another person at the ordering register to get the salad orders instead of that person taking the order and making the salads.
