Both my husband and I were missing items on our plate when our order was finally delivered to our table. Although there were very few patrons in the cafe, our order took way too long to be delivered to our table and both of our orders were cold. My eggs in particular were completely cold, with no warmth at all. Considering how much breakfast costs us there is no excuse for cold food and we should not have had to tell the food runner what is supposed to be on our plate. We LOVE La Madeline but this cafe has really gone down in its speed of service and accuracy is non-existent. Very disappointing considering I have been coming to this location since 1995.

From beginning to end, it was a horrible experience. The cafe wasn't busy at all, but yet no one greeted us. There were 2 people behind the counter, one making a salad and one walking around. Neither acknowledged us or said, "we'll be with you in a minute". It took almost 10 minutes for anyone to take our order. One woman in particular didn't acknowledge us at all--even when we thanked her numerous times for bringing out food or clearing our table. She simply stared right at us and just walked away each time. No one who worked there seemed to even be in a good mood--and we didn't get there very late--around 6:30. We did stay until closing because we were talking and some guests arrived around 8:30 and they were turned away by a young man at the counter saying they were closed even though the sign said 9pm. When the group of 5 turned to leave, he raised his arms in victory and cheered. It was an extremely unprofessional and awful environment. This was our first time to this location and we will not be returning. We've visited several other La Madeleine's in the past, but have never seen anything like this before. Everyone was rude, unprofessional, and unhappy to be there

The food was excellent and easy to heat up with the instructions provided. We were in the middle of a move from one city to another so it would have been hard for me to shop and prepare the meal myself.

They were missing items from my order and when I called they were not at all apologetic. He just asked how I wanted to correct it and said just the refund since I live 20 min away. The guy said we’ll have to send it to Corporate and that was it. I asked how will I know if he does it and he was like ummmmm well check back with me on Wednesday. So basically he wants to me call back a couple days later so when I do they can all act like they have no idea about it and just steal customers money. They need to make sure they give customers what they paid for.
