Creme brulee is way too sweet. Other than that, everything else was very good

We were charged for an extra drink. It's not a huge deal, but does prevent me from choosing Highly Satisfied. Also, your worker told us it was cheaper to be charged for two petite Caesars, rather than one large salad. His reasoning seemed to be he was going to have to charge us for TWO large salads, since we had ONE large salad, split and put on two LARGE plates... very confusing. Looking now at the online menu, it seems we paid at least $3 more with his reasonong.

The free bread butter and jelly, the American Breakfast, the coffee is always hot.

The food portion of a sandwich was very small. For the price it cannot be called a whole sandwich portion for two meal servings. The pastry tasted old.

I chose La Madeleine on this occasion because I was in the mood for one specific item; when I ordered it, I learned that the last one had been sold, and there wasn't enough time to prepare another one. My second choice of entrees wasn't nearly as tasty as the one I had come for, but it was satisfactory. The MOD was very pleasant, helpful, and understanding, so that consideration helped my mood.

Grilled hot chicken was rubbery. My choice was the la Madeleine crepe but my previous experience was a small portion and less appealing in taste. The choices for me have now been limited to one on the menu.

This time we were satisfied. On our last visit we were not. Although the ingredients for the chicken HAVE CHANGED, at least this time it was still warm and had a better taste - it was not as gritty as it was on our last visit. Also, the french onion soup had a better flavor and was not cold this time - and the french coffee tasted better than the last time.

The tables were dirty. The young man who took our order was very attentive and seemed to really care and applied himself. Others standing around talking to one another, not wanting to help him with our order or work. This is not something we have seen in all our years coming their. But it doesn’t create a nice atmosphere when the employees don’t want to be their.
