There is not a single aspect of dining at la Madeleine that I don't find excellent. The place is well kept and charming (including all locations I've visited in Houston), the staff are exceedingly polite and professional and at the same time friendly and welcoming. The food -- I have so many favorites I couldn't name them all (though I will call out the mushroom soup, french onion soup, caesar salad, and of course the tomato basil soup), and I usually walk out with several jars of Tomato Basil soup, pastries, breads, and dressings. la Madeleine has been my favorite place to eat for over 20 years.

I never get tired of talking about my lovely experiences at Meyerland La Madeleine whenever I receive a guest survey slip. Qais is the best staff member. And Resurrection is such a sweet employee also. She noticed that each day I like the dark bread and brought me dark bread she had toasted. I hadn't even asked her to do that; she just thought I would like to try the bread toasted. It was great. Such a thoughtful, kind act.

Everything was great as always.
