Not a bad thing, restaurants Always busy. Maybe extra employees on lunch time.

Wish there was more sauce to put on the chicken friand. There is usually more when dining in. Line was long to get thru, but pickup was during peak dinner time so guess that was expected.

The customer services was easy as well as ordering from the time you walk in to receive the food. Never has failed me in the other times coming here.

The selection of bread out for people to use was very small. I enjoy having a variety of options for me to choose from.

Im not sure if it was the manager but he kept making faces when I asked for a certain pastry. I suggest better customer service.

I love the French cafe feel and food. Love the fire, but three customers were blocking all seats by the fire with 1 person at a table for 4 and 2 people at a table for 8 (there were other available tables. Worse, they sat and worked on their phones for a while after their dishes were cleared. No idea how La Madeleine could handle this, but, it’s my birthday today, and in the entire city of Houston, I picked La Madeleine for lunch and was hoping to sit by the fire. My food was forgotten by the server, it seems, until I asked. My lunch partner had already finished high quiche. Tomato kale soup was too ‘tart’. I couldn’t really taste the soup for the ‘tartness’.

Everything was great, however, there is an going opportunity for this location. The coffee temperature is often "cold". As a customer, we pay about $6 for two coffees and expect it to be "hot" not cold. By watching the crew, it appears that they make several batches of coffee pots at one time to ease their own work. As a result, the coffee pots sit there for a few hours and quickly get cold. We constantly have to watch the coffee section to jump in as soon as a new pot of coffee is made. That is the only way to get the $6 value for our coffees. Not a good experience. Everything else is normally in excellent shape (food, pastry, etc.), it's just a cold coffee that needs fixing.
