Service was ok

I ordered the Beef and Parmesan Potatoes. The Potatoes were good but the beef stew part was lacking something. I think it may be that it needs a sweetness like tomato or more acidity. It was just sorta meh. I added pepper and sugar to make it more flavorful.

My omelet was not very warm at all or have any flavor really even though I got bacon, cheese, bell pepper and tomato on it. The reviews online show there's French toast but when I asked, they said there wasn't any on the menu. So they was misleading.

The temperature of the food was not quite what I expected. It was not as warm as expected so not as enjoyable for me.

I've had a bad experience before and are just now trying this location out again. Appears there are new staff, so it might be better.

Great service

I noticed that each person who makes the iced coffees, make them differently. Some: 1. Put the choc in the cup, put the espresso in the cup, mix it up, pour the milk in THEN add the ice. This way does not cool down the drink and the ice melts and dilutes the strength of the coffee. 2. Put the ice in the cup FIRST, pump the choc on the ice, pour the espresso into the cup over the ice and this cools it down, then pours the milk on top, then stirs it all together. 3. Do the above and do not stir it- which I like bcas the coffee is still strong at the bottom of the cup and not mixed with the milk. Everyone makes the iced mocha diff there.

Good stewardship is as important as product to me when I purchase something, and I have to say both the front counter girl and the manager were very congenial

This is the first laMadeleine that I've dined in that did not have a fireplace. I love to spend time in other laMadeleine locations with a cup of coffee and a pastry and sit by the fire. This particular morning was especially nice since our weather was cooler than normal. Not being able to sit near a fireplace with the french surroundings and aromas was disappointing. Everyone in my party commented on "where is the fireplace?". It just wasn't the same experience that we expected.
