The food was not acceptable!

The staff really needs to pay attention to what is ordered and requested. Also, my sandwich was half made and looked like it was just thrown together.

I paid an extra dollar for cheese to be added in my eggs. When I received my food, there was no cheese in the eggs. I informed the associate of my problem and they just handed me a plate with a pinch of cold cheese on it. The potato soup was watered down (I’ve had it before and it was very obviously watered down) The coffee bar was messy and lacked plates (for the bread) and lids (for the coffee)

It took 12 minutes for me to get my order. When I called to bring it to their attention, they said I’m sorry and we will get it to you right away. I would have appreciated a discount for my next trip or a free cookie, etc. I added the comment on my order for the crust on the lemon tart to be hard because I’ve had them soggy before. This trip they were soggy and also didn’t taste like lemon, just regular custard.

The staff which are mostly teenagers need to be more thorough and make sure they double check food for quality and completeness of the order. This is the 3rd time they have forgotten something, as well as do not include condiments, utensils or napkins.

For the past two years I have order lunch for my team from the Pearland location. Unfortunately, every time there has been a problem. The order arrivd 30-40 minutes late and the food was cold. When the order was not there by 11:10, I called and the la Madeleine rep, just stated that he would be there shortly. Unfortunatley, the driver went to the wrong location vs. the delivery address listed on the paper work. :( We like la Madeleine, and I have tried to use other locations for our catered luncheons but I'm always re-routed to this location. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if we will continue to use this location in the future. It would be nice and greatly appreciated if someone provided better customer service. I ordered in person. I waited 20 mins for my order. When I asked about my order, they pulled it from an area where phone/online order were placed. I know, because I watched people walk in and get their orders from that area. I was sitting in direct sight of the cashier. When the person, other than the cashier, handed me my food he asked if I paid. The cashier FINAL SPOKE UP and said i did pay. I ordered 2 whole sandwiches and received 1/2 sandwiches. I had to leave and did not have time to argue. My husband did not want to eat La Madeleine. I talked him into. Can I use my complementary pastry/dessert at another la Madeleine location?

There was an employee who was loudly discussing slavery, slave owners, beating slaves, torturing slaves etc. directly between the entry and the register. Employees were incorrectly wearing face coverings.

I was really excited to have our baby shower at this location in the wine room, we were assisted by Krystal the manager and was told how everything would be. I called a month in advance to book, the week of she told me to email her with menu and all. I did and did not get a response for 3-4 days later and that is because I reached out to here again. From this phone call, she was not helpful at all.. I would ask her questions and her response was "she would have to check" I needed the invoice sent to me so I could pay and I had to call several times to get it and she would tell me I would get it right away and that ended getting sent to me many hours later and it was by then an expired link. I had several issues come up during the event and her response was no helpful but rather " i am thinking of something but not sure I can help" .. she never checked on us or even greeted us. It was almost like we were in the way... Juan the server that day was very helpful and friendly. after the food was placed, I had to go keep asking for plates, napkins and refill on the beverages. The service was not great, we have always been loyal customers to la madeline. what a shame..

I Dined at La Madeleine many times. However, in this visit, I ordered the whole Napoleon cake and I am disappointed that the cake was stale.
