I usually come to La Madelaine by myself for some downtime. I love this place. The food is great, the ambiance is relaxing and laid back. One of my favorite spots in Lafayette, where I can get a delicious entree followed with an awesome latte and dessert.

The croque madame was outstanding. The sandwich was perfectly toasted, with a golden, crispy exterior and a soft, gooey center. The layers of ham and melted cheese were rich and flavorful, complemented by a creamy garlic sauce.
