Not great

Horribly slow service followed by food that was as bland as it gets. Not worth the time or the money

The food was not as good as usual. Too salty. We were most dissatisfied with the service, though. We came in with two small children and five adults around 7:30. The restaurant was moderately busy, but certainly not slammed. It was nearly 10 minutes before we were greeted and offered drinks, then another 10 before our drinks and top shelf guacamole actually made it to the table. After that it took 30 minutes or more before our food orders were taken. As you can imagine, by this time our kids were restless and we even had to step outside with them to spare the other customers their meltdown. We all noticed our waitress was struggling but never idle. Maybe this was her first night? There were several other tables in her section who were clearly frustrated as well. I, being a service industry vet, closely observed the situation and dynamics among the staff. She and other servers were clearly not working as a team. In fact I noticed the other servers being annoyed with her. I understand how hectic things can get in the kitchen and on the floor among servers. The manager didn't seem to have a handle on the situation. He ran food to other tables, but that was the extent of it. The other servers were clearing tables when they could have been helping her ensure customer satisfaction and return. There is no excuse for the lack of service we received. I hope management gets this sorted out because we usually enjoy the food at this location and have always received stellar service in the past.
